Now that blogging is ubiquitous and passé, I’ve decided to make this site a full-fledged blog (being faster than I look doesn’t necessarily mean I’m fast). I decided to give WordPress a try, and so far I am impressed! Joomla is wonderful, versatile and a great solution for many websites, but it was time for something new.

If you see something that isn’t working right, or if something is missing that you used to enjoy, please let me know. And please leave comments! One of the coolest things about blogging is the interactivity.

I decided to re-do my personal site using Joomla, a very cool CMS (content-management system). I’ve already used Joomla to do a new site for my homeowners association and I am also planning to revamp the DWS site with it in the coming weeks.

My daughter graduated from college last week and we had a wonderful party at the house. My ex and her family, my family and lots of friends all had a nice reunion despite Grace’s and my fears that conflicts might arise. We were only sorry that my son couldn’t get leave to come and that Stephanie’s best friend Tommy is so far away in Iraq now. We sent them both DVD’s of the home movie footage we shot at the party.

So apparently having your own website isn’t good enough anymore… you gotta have a MySpace page as well, so here’s mine.
