Other useless trivia…

I started out in computers on the Apple //e, learning BASIC in high school. Around 1984 I programmed several diskettes of music for a synthesizer card from Applied Engineering and I still get emails occasionally from folks who remembered enjoying them. You can still check them out by downloading an Apple 2 Emulator and the old Phasor disk images!
In the pre-Internet age, I ran a couple of noteworthy BBS’s (Bulletin Board Systems: ComputerCraft SupportLink (1985-1987) and Magnum Opus (1987-1991). Together with many other Dallas area “sysops” I helped test and debug some of the first worldwide electronic mail systems available to the general public (via FidoNet).
After bouncing around a bit, I landed at CLR/Fast-Tax in Carrollton in 1989 and have been here ever since. We were bought by Thomson in 1998 and are now Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting.

I wrote both the school song and fight song for Clark High School in Plano.
